Chevrolet Corvette 1974

Why I Bought This… Again!

Because I know this car. We’ve now owned it three times over ten years, and each time I’ve been very pleased to welcome it back. Our history with this Canadian-delivered Corvette began in August 2016, when it came to us as a trade in for a 2003 Corvette, showing approximately 60,000 miles. Originally dark green from the factory, it had received a complete nut-and-bolt restoration and a colour change to its present silver blue. Its former owner had collected 16 car-show trophies. At that time, we had the restoration work orders. When we sold it that August, the history documents and six trophies accompanied the car.In July 2024, it was traded in at a local Porsche dealership and I bought it back with 63,313 miles. We serviced and certified it, then sold it to a repeat customer with an interesting collection. He enjoyed it occasionally before trading it back to us in July 2026. The odometer now shows 64,235 miles.   We have inspected, serviced and certified this Corvette three times over the past decade. It remains an exceptional example, with a numbers-matching L48 350 V8, four-speed manual transmission and paint that presents very well, with minor imperfections.

One important detail: the complete restoration history did not return with the car in 2024. We can share our firsthand experience and the records we currently hold, but the original restoration file is no longer complete.A familiar car, factory equipped with a proper four-speed with the much appreciated factory tilt wheel and plenty of reasons to take the scenic route.

$29,999 plus HST and licensing.Easy to buy. A pleasure to own.
